When licensing an image from Nelcha Cross, the recipient agrees to disclose to Nelcha Cross the exact usage, including the type of product or service intended for the image(s). Permission will be granted when the intended use(s) is / are described on the recipients order invoice. The invoice will not be accepted unless the intended use has been properly described. After the recipients order invoice has been accepted a Celebrations Unlimited billing invoice will be issued. Full and prompt payment of the invoice will confirm the license for use.
The recipient agrees not to use, nor will Nelcha Cross agree to accept the use of her photograph(s) in any defamatory or obscene manner either by physical changes or by accompanying text. Special clearance must be obtained for any uses pertaining to, but not limited to: tobacco, alcohol, drugs, sexual, adult or personal hygiene products: or social issues, including, but not limited to domestic violence, child abuse, or any spamming or other illegal activities. The recipient agrees to indemnify and defend Nelcha Cross and Celebration Unlimited from and against all damages, including all reasonable attorneys fees, resulting from the recipients use of the photographs, if used without express prior written agreement on the invoice.
Stock photography is existing photography that is available for licensing from photographers for a particular use. When you need to produce a creative piece to meet a deadline, you may not have the time or the budget to contract with a photographer for an assignment shoot. A practical alternative is to purchase the reproduction rights to an already existing image, or stock photo. Photo Buyers & Publishers can license Nelcha's images for use in magazines, books, catalogs, calendars, trade show exhibits, etc.
Celebrations Unlimited has thousands of publication quality images of nature, wildlife, landscapes and flowers from across North America. We, also, specialize in images from the ghost town of Bodie (state Historic Park) in California.
All images are original 35mm or 4x5 transparencies, created with either Fujichrome Velvia, Sensia, Provia or Kodak 100VS films (all have superb resolution, color saturation, and contrast), and were photographed with the highest quality Canon lenses or Linhof / CalTar / Rodenstock equipment. The images retain their sharpness, whether reproduced as a small photo in a magazine or as a huge billboard for advertising purposes.
Our stock photography rates are very competitive and are based on industry guidelines. Prices can vary based on the usage requested, the number of photos to be used, size and press run. Will the image be used for advertising, editorial, or educational purposes? In what medium will it be used (magazine, textbook, advertisement, billboard, packaging, annual report, exhibit, presentation, etc.)? What will the circulation of the finished piece be (magazine circulation, press run for a book, how many billboards will be produced, etc.)? For how long will the image be used (one issue of a magazine, 6 months for a billboard, etc.)? Size and placement of reproduction (1/4 page, 1/2 page, full page, 2-page spread, cover, etc.)

We will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect images for your project with no charges for research fees. We always try to expedite urgent requests.
On our delivery memos, we state a $1,500 minimum replacement Value on any original image that is lost or damaged, with some special images valued at $2000.00. Duplicates have a replacement charge of $50.00
